Chocolate Slider

Hi Guys,

Hope your all well and keeping warm/cool lol!

Just a quick post to share with you a Chocolate Slider that I made for an old friend.  I love making these, their so easy to make and they make a great little gift!

Here's a pic with the chocolate bar:

LOVE this brand of chocolate, it's sooooooooooooooo yummy lol!

and here's a close up pic of my flower detail:

I purchase these gorgeous vintage lollipop flowers made from satin material from the super creative Arlene nearly a year ago and I thought I should use them instead of hording them lol!

The main stamped image is from Stampin' Up!'s  'Friends 24-7' Stamp Set and the Sentiment is from Annabelle Stamps 'Flowers With Love' Stamp Set.

I have used various ribbons that I found in my stash, it's amazing what I find in my ever growing stash lol, I have to stop buying and start using lol!

I'll be making a lot more of these gorgeous chocolate sliders as it gets closer to Christmas, but don't hold me to it roflol!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll 'see' you again on Friday for AnnaBelle Stamps Blog 'Say it With...' Challenge!

Till then, Take care and Keep Smiling,

Chocolate Box

Hi guys, I am going to confess my guilty secret, I love YouTube lol! I love checking out the strange, unusual, funny, informative, sad and drama filled videos. But the best thing is all the crafty tutorials. I found one that takes you through making a chocolate box, but you could use this little box for any small gift and the instructions the lady gives is so easy to follow. So Here is my version. I used Pretty In pink card stock
Purely Pomegranate Card stock
Berry Bliss DSP
Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon
Scallop, 1 3/8, 1 1/4 circle punches
Silver brad
Itty Bitty background stamp set
Versamark Ink
Dimensionals
I was quite happy how it turned out and I think it's cute lol! So I'm going to post the video from YouTube so you can watch it if you want to give it a go!
While I'm here I'm going to have a little brag lol. I ordered the Crop-A-Dile and some other goodies on Thursday afternoon(22nd may)and my goodies were shipped the next day and about 10:00am this morning, my wonderful postie brought my goodies! How good is that!!! So you know what I'll be doing this afternoon! You just gotta love Stampin' Up!
I hope you enjoy the video! Have a wonderful week! Till next time, Hugs

Seeing Spots!

Hi Guys, Hope you had a wonderful weekend. It's been a busy week for me last week, as the kids went back to school to start a brand new school year. I can't believe my son, Matthew is 12 and in year 7 this year, he's already talking about high school and making me feel real old lol. It only seemed like yesterday that he was in pre-school, where do the years go lol!
I made this card a week ago. I used Stampin' Up's seeing spots stamp set. I just love this set and I can see myself using it for lots of different cards and colour combos. Once again I used a little of Dazzling Diamonds, I know I've said it before but I just love Dazzling Diamonds a little bit goes a long way and I used soft Subtles inks.
I'm so excited as my friend wants to have a workshop soon. I'm a little nervous and excited as this will be my very first workshop. While I'm here I would like to thank my Upline and friend, Karen(luv to stamp)for giving me words of wisdom and encouragement for my first workshop, Thank you Karen :-) Once I've had the workshop I'll let you know how I went!
I better sign off for now as I've got a roast in the oven and the young one is doing something that he should'nt(I don't want to know lol)So till next time, have a wonderful week. Take care and keep smiling, (((hugs))) Kylie XX

Quick Card!

Hi Guys, Hope your having a great week. Just a quick post. I've made another quick card. Once again I used Heartfelt Thanks, French Scrip background stamp, Lavender Lace and Whisper White card stock, Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery, Pale Plum Classic Stampin' spots, White grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals and my new favourite thing Dazzling Diamonds(wow, that was a mouthful lol)
I also inked around the Whisper White card stock and teared along the Lavender lace card base and inked the teared edge. I love tearing and distressing, it gives your cards great texture and it's easy peasy lol!
Is there anything called 'overload of inspiration' if so well I've got it lol! I don't know it's either no inspiration or too much(dose that make sense lol)as my cards haven't been turning out the way I want and I won't embarrass myself by showing you my disasters lol!
Thanks for stopping by. Till next time, enjoy the rest of your week, take care and keep smiling (((hugs))) Kylie XX

Card From My Kit!

Hi, I finally was able to have a play with my new 'toys' from my Stampin' Up! Started Kit, mind you I had to get up in the wee small hours of the morning(couldn't sleep anyway lol)to have a play and this is what I came up with and the best thing is it only took me about 20 minutes to make, it took longer for me to clean up!(I'm a messy crafter lol) I'm sooooo in love with Stampin' Up's Dazzling Diamonds, a little bit goes a long way and talk about the sparkle, just lovin' it!!!. I brought Soft Subtles Classic Stampin' Spots of 12 colours(Beautiful colours)and It took a bit of time to 'ink up' the background stamp as I'm impatient so for my next few orders I'm going to get Ink pads and their matching coloured Card stock, any excuse to spend money on great Stampin' Up products lol!

~Materials Used~
Whisper white card stock, pretty in pink card stock, Heartfelt Thanks stamp set, French Script background stamp, pretty in pink, blush blossom and certainly celery classic stampin' ink spots, dazzling diamonds, white grosgrain ribbon and Stampin' dimensionals!

Thanks so much for dropping by!!!

Baby Boy Card

Hi, I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent spending money lol, on a few Christmas presents and escaping the heat lol! I needed to make a quick Baby Boy card and this is what I came up with.

I used Figures of speech stamp set, itsy bitsy baby(so cute!) lemon and soft blue bazzill card stock Making Memories safety pins and a piece of gingham ribbon. On the baby's bib I used a tiny bit of glitter glue and on the spots. I got the idea for the layout of the card from the Aust Stampin' Up Catalogue on pg 40 and changed it a little. Welcome, Little one is a rub-on. I wanted the card to be simple but I think it needed 'something' . Maybe I should of teared around the yellow piece or inked around it, but overall I was reasonably happy with it!

Wishing you a wonderful week! Take care and keep smiling (((hugs))) ~Kylie~

Christmas Cards

Still in the middle of making Christmas cards and making a mess lol! With this christmas card(striped one) I used making Memories PP and red and green bazzill cardstock, Stampin' up Figures of Speech stamp set, Stampin' up classic black stamp pad, organza ribbon and sparkle gel. I made five of these cards, they were super quick and easy(just the way I like it lol) I would loved to of machine stitched around the red bazzill card stock but a terrible mishap(the needle went straight through my finger)I'm staying away from sewing machines lol! I also used some 3d foam to 'pop' up the greeting.
The Santa card is a fun one, his head is chocolate! I found these fun chocolates in my local department store(Big W) and I wanted to put him on a card. They came in a pack of 5. Once again I used my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and embossed a piece of white card stock and mat that onto a piece of red card stock and mat that onto the card. I used my glitter gel(love this stuff)to add a bit of sparkle and tied a red bow , quick and simple. I did make all 5 but the phone rang, I answered it and Connor my 2 year old had a feast and ate three after I finished making the cards. I couldn't used the cards and put more on as he made such a mess with chocolate spots everywhere lol! Thanks for looking! Take care ~Kylie~

Snowflake Card

I live in Australia and even that it's summer at Christmas time, I love snowflakes! So I made this quick and easy card using my favourite things, my Sizzix BigKick with the snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and my stampin up' Terrific Tags stamps! I love bazzill cardstock and my local scrapbook store has the new range of 'bazzill bling' and when I saw it this card 'popped' into my mind lol! I used silver and white bazzill bling, it looks so much prettier in real life, popped a bit of white bling in the embossing folder, it turned out really, really well and mat it on a piece of silver bling, and mat that onto the white card, put a insert inside the card and used a piece of white organza and silver thread for the bow, stamped the snowman image using the snowman stamp and I used Versa Color stamp pad in baby blue. For a little bit of sparkle(just love a little bit of sparkle lol!) I use my glitter gel and coloured in the snowman, the star and the world joy! I made five of these cards and they were so quick to make and put together. The longest thing was waiting for the glitter gel to dry! The cards look amazing in real life, the photo doesn't do the card justice, I think it's time we invest in a new camera lol!

Thanks for stopping by and having a look! Take care and keep smiling, ~Kylie~ :-)

Black and White Spots

I made a quick and easy birthday card using some black polka dot card stock, black paper frill by doodlebug, bella, flowers one white and two black, a bella crystal brad and my stampin' up stamps(terrific tags) with my stampin' up tag punch, a clip(I found it in my odds and ends box) and some polka dot ribbon.

I wasn't to sure with the end result but my friend was over the moon as she loves black and white! I was thinking of spraying a light sent on the flowers but decided against it lol!

Thanks for stopping by and having a look! Take care and keep smiling ~Kylie~
