Team Challenge # 2

Hi Guys,
We had another team challenge this week and it was Judy that set this challenge! We had to use the same stamp set which was Seeing Spots and take the colours from this pic

This was quite a challenge for me! I ended up making three cards and this is the one I decided to go with lol!

I don't think it's too bad, but I've always find it a challenge using Seeing Spots, I like the stamp set but it doesn't like me roflol!!!
If you want to check out the other members cards, I have their blog links on the right side bar, go and check them out, each and everyone of these girls are creative, amazing and beautiful souls!
Till next time, Take Care, Hugs and Smiles,

Hi Guys,
Our team had our first colour challenge that was set By Deb and we had to take the colours from this pic

I thought 'Beauty, this is going to be easy'...Yeah right lol, I really struggled with this colour challenge.
I really love the colours but nothing was working for me, but I managed to get there and this is what I came up with

It wasn't what I pictured but I thought it turned out O.K. lol(I think we are our own worst critics lol)
Thanks for the fun challenge Deb, it was quite a challenge for me lol! I can't wait to see what the next team challenge is!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to post again in the week! Till then, Take Care, Hugs and Smiles

Loads Of Love

Hello from a very cold and wet Adelaide, Hope your week is warmer than mine lol! My first ever stamp set I brought from Stampin' Up! was Loads Of Love! I fell in love with it when I saw it in the catty and just had to have it. This is the very first card I've made with it, I've tried before but every time I tried to colour the truck, it turned into a big mess(I just suck at colouring lol)and always put it away a bit dis hearted. I'm working on some Christmas cards and was determined to make a card with this set no matter what and this was my end result.
Since I suck real bad at any sort of colouring and water colouring I stamped the truck image on Real Red Card Stock and cut it out(well I got hubby to do that lol) I used jumbo eyelets for the wheels, a bit of scrap Dashing DSP, Old Olive, Real Red and Very Vanilla Card Stock. I coloured the presents with different coloured inks with a blender pen then covered the presents in Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle and of course I had to add a bit of Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, I more or less use ribbon on all my cards, just love ribbon lol!
So there you have it, a card that pushed me to my limits and got the better of me ROFLOL! Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the week! Take Care and Keep Smiling, Hugs

Baroque Motifs Tag Starburst

Hi Guys,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I was busy 'creating' and making a huge mess, but that's nothing new for me lol!
I used to have my very own craft room but I fell pregnant unexpectedly(my baby isn't a baby anymore he's 3)so my Craft room turned into a nursery, so I've got a little desk set up in the corner of the lounge and stuff is over flowing and taking over the lounge room lol! So when I go card making which is practicality everyday oh my poor lounge room, there's Dazzling Diamonds in the carpet and sofas and it's still there even after you vacuum lol!
Anyway enough of my ravings, just want to share this card I made over the weekend! This was my first go at making the tag punch star burst and it's very easy, but next time I will use some vellum(If I can find it lol). You can get the project instructions on how to make the tag star burst from that wonderful website, SplitCoastStampers(www.splitcoaststampers.com)

Like It A Latte

Hi Guys,
Hope you had a wonderful day. I've been busy trying to figure out a make and take card for my next work shop on 1st July. I want to use my Like It A Latte stamp set as there will be many coffee drinks there and I know that they will love the stamp set. I also want to use Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip and or Close to Cocoa and Whisper White but I'm so stuck for ideas. I want something that's simple with a little bit of 'WOW' without over doing it(if you know what I mean lol)

So these are the two cards I have came up with. So I like to ask you all a question, Which one do you like best? I don't know If I like the top card, I think it's missing something.
The next card I Cased from Karen(luv 2 stamp)(I need to learn how to put in clickable links lol)thank you Karen lol! I love the layout of the card, but I just don't know if it works lol!

I don't know what to do, any suggestions lol! Thanks in advance for your input and thanks for stopping by!
Till next time, Take Care and Keep Smiling,
~Kylie~

HeartFelt

G'DAY,
Hope your having a wonderful Thursday. It's been a funny day here in Adelaide weather wise. It started of wet, became sunny, wet, sunny and now wet, windy and cold lol! So it's been a great day for making a mess by making a card.
I was happy how this card turned out as this was how I pictured it in my head. I wanted it simple without over doing it and I didn't want to put a sentiment on the front.
So this is what I came up with. Since I became a Stampin' Up! Demo, I have not had a decent nights sleep as I have so many card ideas going through my head, that I have to get up and write them down and this was one of my 'sleepless nights' idea!

All products are by Stampin' Up!

Catalogue Case

Hi Guys,
Hope your all having a great week. It's a beautiful sunny autumn day here in Adelaide today.
I'm just loving our new catalogue, I look at it everyday more than once lol and I dream about making cards, colour combos, card maps, ink and stamp sets, my wish list and how I want every thing NOW lol!

My very first stamp set I brought(before I became a Demo)was Birthday Best on page 51and I haven't really used it so when I was going through the catty and saw the new sample, I knew I had to make it. The only thing I did different was I used Dazzling Diamonds in the centre of the flowers as I had no brads and I love a bit of sparkle lol! You just go to love all the samples in the catalogue!

Enjoy the rest of your week. Till next time take care,
Hugs

In The Spotlight!

Hi guys, Hope your all well and having a great Sunday afternoon. Just a quick post to share with you a card. This was my first go at spotlighting, I think this is what this technique is called, let me know if I'm wrong lol! I've also been busy making lots of different card samples for my up coming workshop, this will be my first workshop, both myself and my wonderful hostess had to cancel many times due to different things. So It's set for May 10th with 20 guests(OMG, I fell sick just thinking of having to demonstrate to that many people lol)So I pretty well know what I going to do!
Back to the card lol(I know, I can really rave on and when I get started there's no stopping lol)I think I already mention that this was my first try and I was very happy how it turned out and was quite surprised at how easy it was to do. All products used are by Stampin' Up!
Well I better sign off as the 'boys' are waiting for their tea(steak sandwiches tonight) Thanks for stopping by. Till next time, Take Care and Have a wonderful week. Hugs,
~Kylie~
