Loads Of Love
Hello from a very cold and wet Adelaide, Hope your week is warmer than mine lol! My first ever stamp set I brought from Stampin' Up! was Loads Of Love! I fell in love with it when I saw it in the catty and just had to have it. This is the very first card I've made with it, I've tried before but every time I tried to colour the truck, it turned into a big mess(I just suck at colouring lol)and always put it away a bit dis hearted. I'm working on some Christmas cards and was determined to make a card with this set no matter what and this was my end result.
Since I suck real bad at any sort of colouring and water colouring I stamped the truck image on Real Red Card Stock and cut it out(well I got hubby to do that lol) I used jumbo eyelets for the wheels, a bit of scrap Dashing DSP, Old Olive, Real Red and Very Vanilla Card Stock. I coloured the presents with different coloured inks with a blender pen then covered the presents in Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle and of course I had to add a bit of Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, I more or less use ribbon on all my cards, just love ribbon lol!
So there you have it, a card that pushed me to my limits and got the better of me ROFLOL! Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the week! Take Care and Keep Smiling, Hugs

What a great Christmas card! I've never tried paper piecing - it's on the "one day" list.
