Sparkle, Sparkle

Hi Guys,
Hope your week is going well.
I just love Dazzling Diamonds and I have been eyeing off the glitter dust technique that I had to give it a try and the end results are just stunning and it's sooooooooo easy to do! I showed this technique a couple of weekends ago at my last workshop and it was a huge hit, that I got all the ladies hooked lol!

On this card I used
~ Bud Basics and Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set
~ Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive, Regal Rose and Versamark Ink
~ Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White Card Stock
~ Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds
~ Silver Brads, PP Double Stitched Ribbon, Snail, Sticky Strip and Heat Gun

and on this card I used
~ Peaceful Wishes Stamp Set
~ Old Olive, Close To Cocoa and Purely Pomegranate Ink
~ Close To Cocoa, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White Card Stock
~ Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds
~ Antique Brass Brads, PP Double Stitched Ribbon, Snail, Sticky Strip and Heat Gun

I used these instructions from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/dazzling_diamond_dust/
The only thing I used different was Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds as I have no Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, but the end results are the same!
If you haven't given this technique a try, you should go and give it a go it's super easy and the results are to die for lol!

I have my very first Stamp-A-Stack in October and I've made the 4 cards that the ladies will be doing and I'll post them over the weekend so I'm keeping the theme all Christmas and I going to make different things. I would like to do a Snowman Soup, but an Aussie version as it's Summer here at Christmas time and I've searched all over the Internet the best I can to find a different saying to put with the hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, candy cane and some chocolate drops but I can't find anything appropriate. So If you know a verse/saying I can put with the cocoa mix can you please point me in the right direction lol! I'll stop raving on now(I tend to do that lol) Thanks for stopping by and Hope to see you again soon! Take care, Hugs and Smiles,
~Kylie~

Kristina's Colour Challenge #17

Hi Guys,
Hope your week is going great for you! The lovely Kristina(I would insert a link but for the life of me, no matter how much I try the links never work lol)has posted this weeks colour Challenge, so Here is my card:

All Products Used Are By Stampin' Up!
~ Bud Basics and Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Sets
~ Rose Red, Regal Rose, Sage Shadow and Whisper White card Stock
~ Rose Red, Regal Rose and Sage Shadow Classic Ink
~ Sticky Strip, 2 Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds
~ Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
~ Antique Brass Brads

I love Rose Red and Regal Rose but I'm not to sure of Sage Shadow, as I'm a big fan of Old Olive lol!
I'm in the middle of making a 'Goth' card for a friends teenage daughter and it needs to be a simple black card with a bit of pink and a little bit of bling, now that's certainly a Challenge for me lol! I'll be posting the card soon after the young lady receives it, I do hope it's to her taste!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful evening and enjoy the rest of your week! Till next time, Take Care and Keep Smiling, Hugs and Smiles
~Kylie~
PS Isn't the 1950s dress to die for, it's soooooooo pretty, I can image my mum wearing these very pretty and feminine dresses in her younger years lol! XX
