Say It With...Emboss Resist

Hi Guys,

I hope your week has been a great one!

Welcome to AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Challenge and this week you will need to pull out your embossing powders, heat gun and inks as it's 'Say It With...Emboss Resist'!

I LOVE this technique as I LOVE embossing, it's my favourite technique lol!

So here's my card:

I have used AnnaBelle Stamps 'Tree-MEN-dous' Stamp Set and embossed my tree in some AnnaBelle Stamps Clear Embossing Powder onto White cardstock and I used various different coloured inks(SU! Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Distressing Inks in Walnut Stain, Shabby Shutters and Broken China)and applied my inks with a sponge and once I was finished and happy with the way it looked I took a cloth and removed the excess ink of my image.

I have also used a paper distresser and distressed around all my layers of cardstock and applied some Walnut Stain Ink around the edges to give my card an old, distressed feel.

For my embellishment I used some yummy newly release 'Natural Jute' from AnnaBelle Stamps and wrapped it around the top of my card in a criss-cross fashion and placed a Tim Holtz Muse Token hanging from the Jute and to finish off I place some AnnaBelle Stamps Artichoke Mini Sprinkles in the bottom right hand corner of my card.

I made this card for my older brother and I was excited that I had a 'K' Muse token in my stash as the 'K' represents Knowledge and my other brothers and I tease him saying things like 'You think your the tree of knowledge' a kinder statement then calling him a know it all lol, so he will understand the meaning of my card and I'm over the moon with my end results lol!

So if you haven't tried 'Embossed Resist' before and would love to play along with us(which I hope you do lol)SCS has a great tutorial HERE!
