Say It With...Polka Dots

Hi Guys,

I hope you have enjoyed your week and looking forward to the weekend!

Welcome to AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Challenge and this week it's another fun 'Say It With...' challenge and this week you need to Say It With...'Polka Dots', what fun lol!

So here's my card:

I have kept my card fairly simple as I wanted my 'Polka Dots' to do the talking lol!

I have used two AnnaBelle Stamps stamp sets this week, I have used the Polka Dot Border Stamp from 'Background By Designs 1' and I have used the gorgeous Medallion and Sentiment from 'Sentimental Bluebells' stamp set.

I stamped my 'Polka Dot' Border is some Cherry Cobbler Ink onto my Kraft card base.
I stamped my medallion and sentiment also in Cherry Cobbler Ink, cut out using nestabilities Circles and Lacey Circles Dies.

I mounted my medallion onto my card base using some 3D foam mounting tape, tied some gorgeous White Satin Ribbon into a knot at the top of my card and finished off my card by placing some yummy 3mm and 4mm Licorice Sprinkles under my sentiment.

What a fun challenge! Would you like to play along with us? All you need to do is make a creation using 'Polka Dots' and link your project from your Blog or On-line gallery at AnnaBelle Stamps Blog!

I hope you can play along, we can't wait to see what you create!

Clean and Simple Meets Simply Saturday!

Hi Guys,

I'm finding I'm having a little extra time on my hands now that Connor is at school full time so that means I can play with my 'toys' a little more lol so I made a card for Andrea's Simply Saturday challenge using Flowers and Clean and Simple Stamping new sketch(FTL100)and combined the two challenges into the one card!

Here's The Sketch From Clean and Simple Stamping

and Here's My Card

I used the flower from AnnaBelle Stamps 'Sentimental Bluebell' stamp set and stamped the image in brown ink onto a piece of Barley Banana Card Stock from SU! and cut the flower out, stamped my sentiment 'Just A Note' onto my tag and tied it around my flower and adhered my flower and tag using some 3D mounting foam onto a piece of Barley Banana Card Stock which I have used a scallop boarder punch along the bottom.

To finish off my card I used some Satin Brown Ribbon that I had in my stash and tied it into a knot at the top of my card.

Believe it or not lol, I found my card 'hard' as I had to stop myself from overloading it with embellishments and had to remind myself that it's a CAS card so keep it simple and leave those pearls and gems alone lol!

Here's The Goodies I Used For My Card:

~AnnaBelle Stamps 'Sentimental Bluebells' Stamp Set
~White Card Stock
~Barley Banana Card Stock
~White Tag With String
~Scallop Border Punch
~Brown Ink
~Brown Satin Ribbon
~3D Foam Mounting Tape

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm off to go and make a batch of cupcakes and this time I get to lick the bowl as there is no no kids around fighting over it roflol, I think I'll make Chocolate ones, yummmmmmm lol!

Till next time, Take Care, Hugs and Smiles,
~Kylie~

Say it With...Embossing

Hi Guys,

I hope your all well and had a fab week and looking forward to the weekend, WooHoo lol!

Today is Friday and that means it's time for another fun Challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps Blog and this weeks fun theme is 'say It With...Embossing'
I Love embossing, dry embossing, heat embossing, just LOVE it lol!

So here's my card

Here's The Yummy Goodies I Used On My Card
~Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla Card Stock
~Unknown Pattern Paper
~'Sentimental Bluebells' Stamp Set By AnnaBelle Stamps
~Opaque Vanilla Embossing Powder
~Tan Satin Ribbon
~Small Mix Cream Pearls
~Spellbinders Dies
~3D Mounting Tape
~Paper Piercer
~Apron Lace Border Punch

I wanted to do both dry and heat embossing on my card but it wasn't working for me. Like usual I left my card to the last minute and was pressed for time so I just stuck to heat embossing.
Now here's a Kylie tip lol, when you have finished with your heat gun do NOT place your hot heat gun onto a piece of acetate, trust me, the way I'm going with my crafting, I'm going to burn the house down, I'm so clueless roflol!
While I'm confessing my crafting sins, don't leave a pair of scissors around where your 5 year old can get to them to give a cat a hair cut or should I say a fur cut lol, my poor old cat cops a lot, getting glimmer misted, glittered and now his fur cut lol.
I hide my scissors as my craft desk is in the lounge so Connor must take notice where I keep them so I'll have to find another spot lol!

Do you want to play along with us this week? I do hope you will, just made your creation using embossing on your project and link your project from your blog or on-line gallery at AnnaBelle Stamps Blog so we can check out your creations, we love seeing what you make!

Our sketch challenge #26 is still going on for your chance to win a stamp Set from AnnaBelle Stamps, you can check out the sketch and all the details HERE!
