Hope life is treating you all well this week!
I've been having fun doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that and resisting the temptation to not to throw the computer through the window...a long story that I wont bother you all with lol!
But I've found time to stamp and this time I stamped on candles, not literally lol, the technique lol!
You take a candle, some white tissue paper your stamps in my case I used the AnnaBelle Stamp Set 'I Can Fly' which you can have a chance to win. Read THIS post for all the details lol, inks, wax paper and your heat gun and your already to go!
Stamp your image onto the tissue paper, colour the image if you wish, I coloured my image in with my Stampin' Up! markers, cut out your image leaving a border around your image, place this on your candle, the tissue paper usually clings to the candle, wrap some wax paper around your candle(the wax side to the candle)pull and hold tightly, grab your heat gun and apply heat onto your candle and you will be able to tell when the tissue has melted into the candle.
You will be able to tell that it has melted as the wax paper goes very glossy/shiny, let it cool slightly and if there are a few wrinkles just smooth out with your finger and carefully peel off the wax paper and if your image is not completely melted into the candle, re apply your wax paper and heat again.
You need to be really careful when using your heat gun as it gets very hot, trust me I learnt the hard way lol!
Then you can decorated buy adding ribbon and bling if you choose. I used some Stampin' Up! ribbon in Rose Red and Some White Satin Trim Organza ribbon.
I finished off my candle with my own made bling brad lol, I used a Stampin' Up! build a brad, some yummy AnnaBelle Stamps Sprinkles in Raspberry and Pearl Sprinkles and I adhere them to the brad using Crystal Effects!
So heres my candle

I think it turned out quite cute lol!
Sorry the photo isn't the best, I'm not winning with technology this week lol!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your week! Till next time, Take Care,
~Kylie~
