Kristina's Colour Challenge #29

G'DAY,
Hope your all having a wonderful week. This weeks colour challenge was sooooooooo fun to do, I just love bright colours!
The colours this week are Pacific Point, Taken With Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White.
I left out Pacific Point as that colour is not yet here in OZ and I liked the four other colours together so I didn't add any other shade of blue.

So here's my take on this week colour challenge:

All products used by Stampin' Up!
~Baroque Motifs Stamp Set
~Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Taken With Teal and Elegant Eggplant Card Stock
~Scallop Circle Punch
~Silver Brads, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon and Mat Pack
~Snail and Dimensionals
~Crimper

It was such a fun card to make. I wanted to keep it simple and did not want to use a sentiment.
Just a small hint when using the crimper, don't leave it around for your three year old to get hold of, to get paper stuck in the crimper(I'm still trying to work out how he did it lol)and ended up breaking it lol. Another job for superglue lol. I should be happy he got paper stuck in the crimper and not the cat's tail, what a picture that would make roflol!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Till next time, Take Care, Hugs and Smile

Kristina's Colour Challenge #22

Hello it's that time again..... yes you guest it, Kristina's Colour Challenge lol!
This week the colours are a few of my favourites. Nothing fancy, I've kept it quite simple and put a few pearls for some embellishments and of course a little ribbon(LOVE ribbon lol!!!)

So here's my card

The only colour that is different is Bashful Blue as I can't find my Soft Sky Inkpad lol!

Most Products Used By Stampin' Up!
~ Baroque Motifs Stamp Set
~ Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Whisper White card Stock
~ Bravo Burgundy and Bashful Blue Classic Ink
~ Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Strip
~ Kaisercraft Self Adhesive Pearls

A Quick, simple and easy card which I'm going to use for a friends wedding so the colour scheme works out great as her Bridesmaids dresses are Burgundy and she loves Pearls!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Till next time, Take Care. Hugs and Smiles

Kristina's Colour Challenge #15

G'DAY,
I've always wanted to do Kristina's colour challenge but I never had all the colours so this time I had them all lol! So this is my very first challenge of any sort and it was so much fun!

This is my card:

I've used Baroque Motifs and Baroque Wheel. I did not have Really Rust ink pad so I used my markers. I was quite happy how it turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Take Care

Golden Baroque Motifs

Hi, Hope your having a wonderful week. Just showing off my latest card and tooting my own horn lol! I promise this will be the last Baroque Motifs card I post for a few days lol. I wanted to do some embossing as I brought the embossing kit and not had a play with it yet so I thought I'll bring it out and have a go. It is so super easy and freaky watching the embossing powder melt while using the heat tool. Before I had a heat tool I used to drag out the old toaster and heat the powder that way, so now my trusted old toaster has been retired lol!

I love doing these sort of cards as they are so quick and easy. The hardest part of the card was trying to tie the ribbon into a nice knot(for the life of me, I can not make a nice and pretty bow lol) Sorry about the not so clear photos of late my digital camera has gone walk about so I'm using the video camera to take photos and I can't work out how to use the scanner lol!

All products used are by Stampin' Up!
~Regal rose and Pretty In Pink Card stock
~Versamark Ink
~Gold Embossing powder
~Hodgepodge Hardware, Antique Brass
~Regal Rose 5/8 Grosgrain Ribbon
~Baroque Motifs stamp Set
~Heat Gun
~Sticky Strip

Thanks for dropping by, Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Take Care

Faux Tile

Hi guys, Hope your having a great weekend. Since it's a long weekend I thought I just have a play and try a few different things. I really like the faux tile technique so I thought I'll give it a go! So this is what I came up with and if you look at the bottom left you can see my mistake lol!
I used River Rock and Chocolate Chip card stock and Baroque Motifs stamp set(this is my favourite stamp set)and I just realize by looking at the photo my cutting out is shocking lol.
Next time I do this card I will use some yummy Hodgepodge Hardware and the wider Chocolate Chip Ribbon but overall I love this technique and was happy with it as this was my first try. So I can't wait to do this technique again.
Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Take Care

Baroque Motifs Gift Set

Hi, Hope your having a great weekend. Today(or should I say tonight lol)I want to share with you a gift set that I have made using one of my favourite stamp set Baroque Motifs. The set includes 6 cards and matching envelopes in a hand made box which once again I found a tutorial on YouTube(gotta love YT lol)it was super easy to make.

I have made a few of the sets, I used a couple for door prizes at my last workshop and just some 'Thank You' gifts. I am loving the Old Olive and the new in colour, Purely Pomegranate combo and I have fallen in love with the Scallop circle punch!
I also have a hint for you, don't leave your Dazzling Diamond glitter around when nature calls and you have a 3 year old, lets just say Dazzling Diamonds goes a long way, just ask the cat lol!

Thanks for stopping by, till next time, enjoy the rest of your weekend! Take care
