Just Add Ink # 33 ~ Sketch Challenge

Hi Guys,

I hope your all well and your week is going great!

Just a quick post to share with you a card I made for this week's challenge at Just Add Ink and this week it's a sketch and what a great sketch this one is!

Here's The Sketch:

and Here's My Card:

I used the very Vintage Wheel from Stampin' Up! and Embrace Life Stamp Set also from Stampin' Up! that has now been retired and I stamped the flower image in Versamak ink onto a piece of Vellum and embossed it in some yummy AnnaBelle Stamps Vanilla Embossing Powder.

I used some Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa Card Stock and used the Very Vintage Wheel and Chocolate Chip ink and 'Wheeled' the image onto the card stock and I have distressed the edges using a Tim Holtz paper Distresser and I also sponged around the edges using Chocolate Chip Ink.

To finish off my card, I stamped my sentiment 'Embrace Life' in Versamark ink and also embossed it in the AnnaBelle Stamps Vanilla Embossing Powder, tied some Cream Ribbon into a bow freehand lol, I would off used my Bow Easy but I have missed placed it, so it looks like I'll be having a good tidy up to find it lol, it's one of my favourite tools lol!
I have placed some Silver backed Cream Pearls from Bella in my flower center and on my bow(To cover my ugly bow tieing roflol)!

So that's my card for this weeks fun sketch challenge at Just Add Ink. If you hurry there's still time to play along lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll 'See' you again on Friday with my card for AnnaBelle Stamps Blog!

Till Friday, Take Care and Keep Smiling,

  6. I just love this card. I do parchment craft so have lots of vellum. The Embrace Life set is one of my favourites so I will definitely be trying this. Love your blog and the tutorial on how to make the ribbon flower using a heat gun is great. I am also going to try those. Thanks for sharing such wonderful ideas.
