Wild About You, Mr Croc!

Happy Monday Guys,

Hope your well and had a great weekend and a lovely mother's Day!

I had a lovely Mother's Day and got spoilt with breaky in bed, hot weet-bix(hubby calls it slop lol), toast with Vegemite(yum yum yum lol) and a cup of tea(I should say a mug of tea)
I was lucky enough to receive a lovely bunch of flowers and a lovely pair of slippers, black with hot pink stitching, hubby must listen to me sometimes as he said he tried to find a pair of slippers that were close to Chocolate Chip in colour but could not find any, so he got me a cute 'Chocolate Chip' coloured teddy that has been stitched in White and Pink(my favourite colour combo lol)'Love You Mum' from my little boy, Connor and later in the day we went to the beach for some yummy hot cinnamon sugar donuts, they tasted so good lol!

O.K. I'm finished with my ravings,, I want to show you this card, that I LOVE, it turned out so good, it's one of my favourites made by me(I hope that makes sense lol)

All Products Used By Stampin' Up!
~Wild About You Stamp Set
~Always Artichoke, Old Olive, Whisper White and Basic Black card Stock
~Old Olive, Basic Black and Versamark Ink
~Hemp Twine Thread
~Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Bone Folder
~Scallop Circle Punch
~Dimensionals

I used a technique called Faux Crocodile, it's also know as Faux Alligator/snake/leather(I think, correct me if I'm wrong lol)and it's soooooooooooo easy to do with great results.

Just take your card stock and cover it in Versamark Ink and then cover the intire piece of card stock with clear embossing power, then take your bone folder or something similar and make a wavy criss-cross pattern, the you take your heat gun and heat emboss until the clear embossing power melts then presto you have your Faux Crocodile card stock!

I watch a video by Ann Clemmer from Stamper Dog and just had to 'case' her super cute card, give it a go, it's fun and so easy, your going to love the end result and the ideas are endless lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by, come back(only if you want too lol)during the week and see the other things I have made using this technique lol! Till then, Take Care, Hugs and Smiles,
~Kylie~
