Kristina Colour Challenge # 34

Hi Guys,
Hope your having a great week! Hope you've finished your Christmas shopping to beat those last minute crowds that will include me roflol!

So here's my card for this week's challenge! Even though it's Summer here in Australia I LOVE snowflakes so I used my snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder and I found some snowflake buttons in my stash I brought about 2 years ago from Doodlebug



The stamp is called 'Greetings From The Wise' by Penny Black, I just love the Owl I think he's so cute!
I coloured the owl in Certainly Celery, Sage Shadow, Pale Plum and Perfect plum Stampin' Up! markers and used white puff paint for the fur on his hat and use a bit of Dazzling Diamonds also on his hat and body for a little sparkle.
I embossed the 'Very Merry' from Stampin' Up! Short and Sweet stamp set with white embossing powder onto my Bordering Blue card base, tied Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon on my Certainly Celery and Whisper White embossed layers and layered my Owl onto Pale plum and Perfect Plum Card Stock and 'Popped' my Owl layers on top of my embossed snowflake with Dimensionals.
I've made a few other cards with this stamp in different colour combs which I'll post soon!
