Hi Guys,

Christmas Planner

Hi Guys,
Hope your having a wonderful week. I have my first Christmas Stamp A Stack(SAS)in a few weeks and I've been in the middle of making some door prizes. I really like the Christmas Planners that you see on splitcoaststampers and thought they would make a great door prize and want to keep everything Christmas themed lol!

So here is what I came up with

The Planner is made from a foolscape Manila file folder. I used Dashing DSP and Real Red Card Stock and cut out the Poinsettia from the Season Of Joy stamp set and printed the 'Christmas Planner' onto Very Vanilla Card Stock and some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and a few Pearls for some embellishments.

This pic is showing the inside and the inserts

In the four pockets I have put a list for Notes, Christmas Card List, Receipts and Christmas Shopping List. You could always add a Small Calendar, Post It Notes or a little pocket to put postage stamps etc

This next pic shows all the inserts

I printed the list onto A4 printer paper and cut to size and they are held together with tiny bulldog clips(they are so cute lol)and I covered them in matching Dashing DSP and a little Real Red Ribbon. I made the Receipts holder out of a DL(business size) envelope and covered it with Dashing DSP and Real Red Ribbon and placed some Dashing Inside the envelope and used my 1 3/8" Circle Punch.
I was very happy how the Christmas Planner turned out!

Here is another Christmas Planner I made with More Dashing DSP in different colours

If you have any questions or need any more info, just send me an e-mail and I'll be more than happy to answer your questions!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your week! Hugs and Smiles,

Kristina's Colour Challenge #23

Hello,
That time of the week again, another colour challenge and this time I found these colours a challenge. As I was 'scared' of these colours I though I would keep my card simple and I still don't know if I like the card, I'm still on the fence about it lol!
So here's my card

I used Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron to colour the sweet little flowers and used my Old olive Marker to go over the Black Stazon ink for the stems. In the centre of the flowers I put a tiny amount of Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle.
Here's a close up of flowers

So that's my card for this weeks Colour Challenge.

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack

Hi Guys,
just a quick post to show you the cards the ladies will be making at my very first stamp-A-Stack for Christmas on the 18th of October. 10 ladies are attending and will make these 4 cards, 3 each of the 4 designs. It should be a fun filled day with door prizes, mystery gifts and a Christmas lunch, the whole day is going to be Christmas themed lol! So here's the cards:

This card is using the Season Of Joy Set

The next card is also using the Season of Joy Stamp Set and I cased this card from the lovely and talented Trish Myers.

This card is using my favourite set of them all, Baroque Motifs and the greeting is from Sincere Salutations

This card is using Peaceful Wishes Stamp Set with the Dazzling Diamond Dust Technique

So I hope the ladies will be happy making these cards. Over the next few weeks or so I'll post the door prizes and mystery gifts! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend. Take care, Hugs and Smiles,

This week the colours are a few of my favourites. Nothing fancy, I've kept it quite simple and put a few pearls for some embellishments and of course a little ribbon(LOVE ribbon lol!!!)

So here's my card

The only colour that is different is Bashful Blue as I can't find my Soft Sky Inkpad lol!

Most Products Used By Stampin' Up!
~ Baroque Motifs Stamp Set
~ Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Whisper White card Stock
~ Bravo Burgundy and Bashful Blue Classic Ink
~ Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Strip
~ Kaisercraft Self Adhesive Pearls

A Quick, simple and easy card which I'm going to use for a friends wedding so the colour scheme works out great as her Bridesmaids dresses are Burgundy and she loves Pearls!

Sparkle, Sparkle

Hi Guys,
Hope your week is going well.
I just love Dazzling Diamonds and I have been eyeing off the glitter dust technique that I had to give it a try and the end results are just stunning and it's sooooooooo easy to do! I showed this technique a couple of weekends ago at my last workshop and it was a huge hit, that I got all the ladies hooked lol!

On this card I used
~ Bud Basics and Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set
~ Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive, Regal Rose and Versamark Ink
~ Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White Card Stock
~ Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds
~ Silver Brads, PP Double Stitched Ribbon, Snail, Sticky Strip and Heat Gun

and on this card I used
~ Peaceful Wishes Stamp Set
~ Old Olive, Close To Cocoa and Purely Pomegranate Ink
~ Close To Cocoa, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White Card Stock
~ Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds
~ Antique Brass Brads, PP Double Stitched Ribbon, Snail, Sticky Strip and Heat Gun

I used these instructions from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/dazzling_diamond_dust/
The only thing I used different was Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds as I have no Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, but the end results are the same!
If you haven't given this technique a try, you should go and give it a go it's super easy and the results are to die for lol!

I have my very first Stamp-A-Stack in October and I've made the 4 cards that the ladies will be doing and I'll post them over the weekend so I'm keeping the theme all Christmas and I going to make different things. I would like to do a Snowman Soup, but an Aussie version as it's Summer here at Christmas time and I've searched all over the Internet the best I can to find a different saying to put with the hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, candy cane and some chocolate drops but I can't find anything appropriate. So If you know a verse/saying I can put with the cocoa mix can you please point me in the right direction lol! I'll stop raving on now(I tend to do that lol) Thanks for stopping by and Hope to see you again soon! Take care, Hugs and Smiles,
~Kylie~
